Permeate a Reality?

It's sad, but true. Major Milk companies across Australia are using a by-product called permeate to dilute their milk. Many of our delivery drivers have been stopped and questioned about the recent story, about permeate, on Channel Nine's A Current Affair.
We are pleased to announce that we don't use permeate in any of our milk products. We don't do any kind of watering down and there are no additives added to our milk. Our milk's not even genetically modified! It's that good old fashioned taste more and more people are remembering and demanding.

Many consumers have commented on the colour of our milk compared to the typical milk sold. Our milk is a real rich cream colour as apposed to the white watery colour of other milks.

Rest assured that when you buy our milk products you are getting not only a fully South Australian owned and produced product, but the real thing, fresh from the cow to you.

Fleurieu Milk is produced, processed and packaged on farm.

Iced Coffee Go!

Fleurieu Iced Coffee was released into selected Foodland stores across South Australia on Friday the 9th of May.

"The feedback already, (from the early release of Fleurieu Milk Company's Iced Coffee, a few weeks ago), has been outstanding!" Exclaims Marketing Manager John Maidment.

Alan Steinert, distributor for the Fleurieu Milk Company had this to say about the Wayville Markets he attends. "The Iced Coffee has been very popular and is selling like hot cakes, it's just another example of the quality people are expecting and and loving from the Fleurieu Milk Company"

The creamy premium taste of the unhomogenised milk mixed with the aromatically rich coffee tastes from Monjava Coffee is a match made in heaven.

"You can't stop at just one!" A lover of the iced coffee from Reynella said.

A local man of Sellicks Beach interviewed about the iced coffee said "Fleurieu Iced Coffee...Not for sooks!"

Fleurieu Milk has ‘glassy’ launch

The Fleurieu Milk Company launched its glass bottle label on Sunday December 17 at the Adelaide Farmers Market at the Wayville Showgrounds.

The successful launch also displayed the full range of milk available by Fleurieu Milk, which are available at selected Foodland stores and outlets throughout South Australia, including the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The Fleurieu Milk Company is gaining credibility through its quality of product and its ability to adapt and innovate to suit the needs of their consumers.

“All consumers will have the opportunity to taste the healthy unhomogenised milk bottled in glass at their local store and if it is not available then ask for it,” marketing manager John Maidment said.

The Fleurieu Milk Company is located at Rowley Road, Myponga and is owned by Geoff and Louise Hutchinson, Barry and Merridie Clarke and Chris and Karen Royans.

Unhomogenised, homogenised, full cream, low fat and jersey A2 is the full range of the Fleurieu Milk label.

The first glass bottle of Fleurieu Milk was presented to Doctor Robert Gibson a Professor in Functional Food Science at the University of Adelaide Waite Campus at the launch.

“I am a big believer in farmers markets, so it is appropriate to support the new venture.

“It is a direct contact between producer and customer, as the concept of producers getting their product through a speedier time frame is good, as nutrient levels are maintained longer.

“You lose nutrients as a product ages, so I am applauding the direct pipeline from the cows to the customer.

“The introduction of glass gives people a choice from plastic and they want glass.

“It can be washed and recycled,” Dr Gibson said.
